This has no drainage holes, I'm not sure what will thrive in it?

good question...
Were you planning to keep planter indoors?

Some people drill holes in planter...

personally, I would be considering "bog" type plants...

there are tons of plants that like to grow in wet soil.

things like Louisiana iris, and golden club (Orontium aquaticum) come to mind...

I'm assuming this cutie is desktop/windowsill sized- maybe a little small for Louisiana iris Smiling
Maybe a mini Phalaenopsis in leca/clay balls. Add water occasionally and pour out.
Plant it and they will come.

If you grow an aroid in sphagnum moss, like an Anthurium or Philodendron, and don't completely overwater it, but just keep the moss damp, not wet, it would grow fine. I have a lot of Anthuriums in moss, like this A. scherzerianum, being photobombed by Bulbophyllum Wilber Chang. Or, if you know how to do its you could grow a plant in semi-hydro in LECA or PON

Bog plants are rather interesting if there are no holes in your pot.
Mini water lily.

How about a rabbit foot fern? It would cascade up and over the creature's face - make it look like its lurking out back in the woods.

I like the idea about a rabbit's foot fern, those fuzzy rhizomes would be perfect. I had several types in Wisconsin, I think I'll need to hunt them down again here.
