Moon Valley Pilea (Pilea mollis)


I think the photos at these two database entries are the same plant with Pilea mollis being the correct species name. If that is the case, the photos at the P. ovalis database entry should be moved over to P. mollis. I'm not 100% certain but I think all Pilea ovalis plants have glabrous leaves while P. mollis has soft, textured leaves, as seen in the photos at both of those entries. I'm also not certain whether or not Moon Valley is a common name or if there is a legitimate cultivar named 'Moon Valley' but over the past 40 years I've had plants at different times labeled as: Pilea mollis 'Moon Valley', Moon Valley Pilea and Moon Valley Plant .
