Thread OP

Hi Folks,
Happy Saturday. About 13 dollars including shipping. I plan to use it for both plants in water and in soil. What do you think? Thanks

It has lots of micronutrients (always a good thing) and will encourage leaf and root growth. Looks like its good for anything soil or water based (unless you want flowers).

It seems to me, folks using this stuff are also working for maximum growth using lots of supplemental lighting.
Considering that the average Sally Homeowner plants can live for ages in plain water, I would be cautious about too much fertilizer. AM I wrong? Are the hydro ones safe at full strength even for plants with less than max light?
Plant it and they will come.

Fertilizer is fertilizer, just follow the directions.

But too little is better than too much.

Hence the "follow the directions".
Fertilizer companies are in the business of selling fertilizer so they usually push the upper limits of plant use in order for you to need more fertilizer as soon as possible. Short of over-dosing and causing issues from that. It saves on litigation costs and avoids (most) negative reviews. So take the label recommendation as an upper limit and work from there.
