I had a 12ft Japanese Cedar tree planted last August and it was braced. How long do you recommend that I leave the bracing support rope and stakes up? Thanks!

I would choose some time when the ground was fairly dry and solid and loosen the ties for a while to see whether the tree is stable. If it is, remove all bracing.
