I am propagating my pothos cuttings, look, is the circled part a new leaf or just another root? thanks

New shoot most likely. Usually a new shoot is produced after the meristem is cut, not a new single leaf. Else how would the vine continue?

Thank you very much. I think I love this plant more because it grows fast, considerably faster than the philodendron mican and a few others, including silver pothos and a few hoyas, the only plant i have that grows faster than this golden pothos is wandering jews.
