Fabulous pictures, Ursula. Thanks for sharing.
You have some interesting new plants, too. I love the Trichoglottis, with flowers that look like little bumble bees!
Have decided that my sensory overload problem is because the displays are just too crowded for me - the few that had plants spaced apart were nicer, I thought. But of course if a grower has "this many" plants in bloom he wants to show them all off and only has so much room, I guess.
The 'Santa Barbara Sunset' in the first picture is just breathtaking.

I agree, that might have been the Best In Show! Or maybe it was?!
Ursula, you were like a "Ace Reporter" in the field reporting back to the group to detail the show for us! Just a fantastic job in reporting from the field.
So many great flowers! My head started to swim a little as there is so much to look at. I really enjoyed seeing the 'big lipped' Phalaenopsis. Very pretty. But I must admit, 2 Bulldog Paphs caught my attention. In one image I noticed one seemingly just pure white by the name of Paph. Krull's Glacier. I thought it was so beautiful.
And there was another called Paph. Center Court. The Center Court was a golden yellow flower with what looks like brick red markings on the flower. Boy what I would not give to have that one in my collection!!!
Nice job again!
Apparently people in the Jersey area can grow orchids!!!!
There is no better thrill then catching fish using flies that you tied!
Nick, we enjoyed it. I think the emphasis was strongly geared to really good Paphs!
And those large-lipped Phals.
Yes, there are really good growers here!
Did you notice the Coel., not Dendrochilum glumaceum? I thought somebody made a mistake, but then I remembered you writing about it. There were a couple of them dispersed through the displays.
