Dear,

I have been facing the following issue in the last couple of days. I have Ti Plant (cordyline fruticosa) which out of a sudden started to have yellow/brown dry leaves. Usually, I water this plant every 7-10 days and it stands right to the window, so it can get enough sunlight.

Any advice how to save this? Do you think I should move it to another area, perhaps it gets too much sunlight during the day?

Thanks in advance!

Is the soil taking that long to dry? Getting too dry could cause accelerated loss of the older leaves, but as the woodiness of the trunk progresses upward, the lower leaves will fall off. If at some point in the future you decide it is too much trunk and not enough leaves, you can cut it near the soil line, stick the top back in the pot. Then the top should make new roots and keep growing, and the stump should make one or more new stems.

By the window is good, a plant that can handle full sun outside.
