Hi all:

Tree was received a few months ago. Just sprayed with an organic insecticidal soap to treat what appeared to be a minor spider mite infestation (webs at the top of the tree).

Are the leaves a result of that, or something else?

Really looking forward to moving these outside in a couple weeks.

The tiny little spots, yes. The bigger blotches and squiggles, no. The squiggles look a lot like leafminers but not. The blotches look more like sunburn or chemical burn. You've probably controlled whatever it was. Watch for new damage in case you haven't.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I had wondered if it was another insect, but all I saw were tiny dots. I also liked for tracks in the leaves but could not see any.

I also wondered about sun exposure. I'd be surprised if it was too much sun, as the sun does not even shine in through the window for 6 hours or so.

Anyway I did treat the plant with insecticidal soap, and am keeping it under observation. So I will see what happens.

Thanks again.
