Not sure what this is. I found it among a bunch of weeds but it looked different from the weeds surrounding it so I am curious as to what it is.

That's what I was thinking, however, I am unsure of how it would have gotten here as I have not grown anything like that before.

My first thought was also Ajuga, until I saw the close up photo.

Others have suggested Self-heal (Prunella vulgaris) which is apparently found in Canada. A map on this page shows where it's considered native and also where it has been introduced: https://data.canadensys.net/va...
