Light Purple Lilacs

Taken at Lilacia Park in Lombard, IL. This particular lilac was a very pale shade of purple that looked white in the sun.

You can't help but notice the fragrance, the park is 8.5 acres filled with 100s of different lilacs. If there's even a slight breeze during bloom time, you can smell the lilacs driving before you even get close to the park.

I had to look up how many lilacs out of curiosity, the count ranges from 700-1500 lilacs of 200-300 different varieties, along with 35,000 tulips that bloom the same time, and over 400 other trees, shrubs and perennials. Fragrant doesn't do it justice in spring.
