I would let it die back a bit more...it is probably turning brown from lack of light, needs high humidity but you probably have the humidity.

Hi Kat. It's under a front facing porch so it gets no sunlight at all in the fall and winter months. Should I get rid of it if it needs full sun?

Or maybe they're just old. Trim off the brown parts and remove any that are 50% or more brown. Feed it good and let it grow!

Hi Kat. I just looked up the plant sun needs and apparently it doesn't like direct sunlight. It just likes being in a well lit area.
