I have a begonia that I bought last May that was blooming when I bought it but stopped and is just growing up with large leaves. What am I doing wrong?

Congrats on the nice leaves anyway!
I am not sure what kind of Begonia you have there. Is it a 'wax begonia', often sold as a summer annual?
My experience with several begonias is that they are NOT are constant bloom.
Yours may want more light. What kind of light does it get?
Plant it and they will come.

Yes @sallyg it's a wax begonia. Your question about how much light it's getting got me thinking. I have it in my dining area on the north side of my apartment. I moved it to my second bedroom on the south side to see if that helps. When I moved my spider plant into the bedroom it bloomed and produced babies so that move might help the begonia too. I'm also going to trim the small dead branches from it too.

It would do better outside, but if you are keeping it indoors, it really would be best with bright, indirect light near a window, avoiding north-facing windows that may not receive enough sun.

Thanks @Calif_Sue. I'll probably put it outside on my lanai. That seems to be good for some of my other plants.

Wax Begonias can bloom all winter. This pot spent winter right next to a S window. This is the day it went outside.

This pot was by a W window but some evergreen trees block most of the light for that window.
