I found small light color worms and bigger dark gray ones, but centipede like, in my house plant saucer. Had plant for roughly nine months and I think these are new. I did have fungus gnats in my house plants months ago, but the infestation seems to have gone away. Haven't noticed gnats in a few months. So what is with these worms? Anyone? It's grossing me out…z

But do you have any actual information on what they are and why they are there? Never seen that in a houseplant saucer before.

We get them in outdoor potted porch plants in Florida all the time. They seem to emerge a lot after the rainy season starts. That would seem to indicate that if you are finding them in houseplants, you may be overwatering. They can actually be beneficial, they feed on other insects.
During our monsoon season in summer sometimes we find a bunch of them out on the front porch. Regular insecticides don't kill them, it has to be something that will kill spiders and/or wasps. But there really isn't a need to kill them

I found them this winter in a very humid terrarium-type thing I was using to root cuttings. I agree that they come from very wet conditions.
