These two mangaves are coming out of the winter greenhouse with some damage...I'm thinking the first is salvageable but not sure of the second since the core has rotted. Any suggestions on rehabilitating these?

The second is a lost cause unless some of the lowest stem is still intact. Put it in the sunniest place you can, there's no chance of burning.
The first one is still a 'maybe' if it doesn't come apart when you give it a tug. If it does come apart do the same as the second.

thank you CalPolygardener...the one with the dead black core is very thick and sturdy below so I am hoping it may do SOMETHING! The other I have tugged on but none of the leaves come away easily...it would require cutting them off. For the time being I think I will just let them both sit in the sun and see what happens Thumbs up
