So... Selling European painted lady caterpillars to raise on pelleted "food" and release in the backyards of America...

What could go wrong?

I rarely notice commercials when the TV is on just for background noise, and anything I sit down to watch has been recorded so I can skip all commercials. And yet there's another reason why my way is the only sane way to watch TV! Hilarious! Let's hope it's just a scam and they all die.

Edit: I had to look it up and it's funny they don't mention the European part of that at all, so it sounds like you're getting our native painted ladies. And then I looked further that painted ladies are native to just about every continent... but still the risk for diseases and other issues remains. Wouldn't they need special permits from the US to do this?

I don't think this is something that's just going away anytime soon...

They claim to have been selling caterpillars through the mail since 1969!

Could be that I didn't have all my information.

I was certain that painted ladies were from Europe while we had the American lady...
