A few minutes ago my house started shaking pretty loudly. I thought the washing machine was out of balance. Checked and it wasn't. Went outside and all the neighbors were outside looking around. Then the fire sirens went off.

This was the biggest shake I've ever felt. I can't imagine what it is like when you get a 8 or 9 quake.

Remember being at our home in Delaware several years ago, felt and heard what sounded like a train, asked my Dad "what was that", he said a train. Dad we don't have any trains near us....earthquake.

Thanks Rj. The town called all residents to let us know it was a quake. That was the largest I've ever felt. I really thought the washing machine was going severely out of balance. Amazing.

Ha, Ha. I just had to edit your link to remove the http because I'm not allowed to post links.

At work we thought a truck hit the building and at home some stuff was knocked down and said they thought a car hit the house. I am pretty sure they said it was the largest in over 200 years.

There was a 4.0 aftershock at 6 pm but I didn't feel or hear it. I was helping my wife get dinner ready.

After DH had been gone a couple of weeks, I had a nightmare about an earthquake...felt so real I believed it was happening until I woke up. Scary!

No damage, the tree falling on the house a few weeks ago did enough and was just fixed.
