Just wondering what you folks typically do when a climbing plant, like bougainvillea, begins to exceed the height of it's trellis. I have one that towers over the trellis, looks a little unkempt. Thanks for any advice!

Have you trained it at all, or just letting it grow? I have seen folks that keep them on balconies and just let them follow the rails and everything else, my big ones froze, but my little one I am trying to train, and I did nip a few of its branches back without harming it.
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!

I've seen people lead it over doorways, around windows and over an arch leading to the door. There are some helpful videos on the subject.
