This is another of the three groupings of cacti I've made for my cactus collection for their winter storage conditions. This group contains cacti that can see temps down to neg 20F or lower if they are bone dry. Some here though can grow outdoors in really well drained soil even with our rain and snow. I'm taking the easy way out and keeping them in my detached garage over winter.

Here's a photo taken yesterday:

The collection contains:
Echinocereus reichenbachii miniature
Echinocereus reichenbachii ssp. perbellus
Echinocereus triglochidiatus CCSS 4-23 show
Echinocereus triglochidiatus v. inermis M2G
Escobaria minima
Escobaria missouriensis
Escobaria sneedii
Escobaria sneedii ssp. leeii
Escobaria vivipara

All of these plants have also been dry since we start getting frosts in October. I do bring the box outside in the winter as long as it is not snowing or raining.
