Hello! I am hoping to get some help with my lucky bamboo I have had for almost 10 years. It almost died and I revived it about a year ago. It is now sprouting new offshoots on BOTH of the parent stalks at the base. Should I cut the offshoots and then completely cut the roots off at the base of the parent stalk? Thank you in advance for any help!

It's very happy! No reason to cut them off. Unless you just love the single stem look, I guess.
I love this plant for indoor pots- because it will make these offshoots and makes a lovely plant that doesn't spread out all over, stays upright.
Plant it and they will come.

Hi & welcome! Congrats on the recovery! : )

There is not a "should" but there are several "coulds," as mentioned. You could cut, leave alone, leave in water, put in a pot of soil, whatever seems like the most fun to you. it does not look like you would need to remove the original roots to remove the new shoots.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.
