Can anyone help me identify this grassy plant that came up next to the iris this Spring?

Thanks Janine, I think you're right. I'm just not used to nice flowers coming up unexpectedly! I think I missed the blooms, that's why the leaves took me by surprise.
Not weeds, they get to stay amongst the iris.
