Thread OP
Pennsylvania
I'll try to keep a long story short. I live in zone 7a. I bought this star jasmine a year ago when it was blooming and it was wrapped up around poles. I left it wrapped up and in a spot with poor lighting on my balcony for almost the whole year. It grew long vines with no leaves on it, developed white spots on some leaves and has some browning. It survived the winter and this year I decided to unwrap it and move it to the balcony fence which gets more light. I'm extremely new to gardening and had no idea what I was getting into with this plant. But I want to help it. In short, are the vines with no leaves normal? Should I cut them to get new growth? Is there anything else I should do to help this poor plant that I've been torturing 😄 Thanks in advance!
