Surprise Arizona
I live in central AZ. Half of my friends cactus fell down. I have two pieces that are 5 feet long with multiple arms out of a single base. Hence top heavy. I'm going to let them scab over and then plant them. My question is when I plant them how deep can I plant them to give support since they are top heavy?

Thx, Pia

I wouldn't bury too much stem, just a few inches, but give it a stake. Mine has a T-post down its middle because they're top heavy.

Thx Lucy, when I think about it, the cactus will then grow around the post and will give it support as it gets bigger. Good idea!
