I have a Lemon Lime Dracena. It's was doing well for a long while. Then the leaves started getting these large brown spots in the middle of the leaf or at the base of the leaf where it connects to the trunk. The eventually turns brown/black and falls off. It took a long while but I guessed it could be too much fluoride in the water. So I started buying bottle water. But I don't know if that's the problem. Does this look like flouride damage? Can I cut the top off this Dracena and will it grow more leaves? Can my plant be saved?

Welcome!
No answer from me, but I hope someone has comments. I had a Warneckii (similar) and for several years I've tried changing pots and care, only to keep having brown edges return time after time. I am on a well, so do not have fluoride, and usually use rainwater anyway. I have finally put it out of its misery, deciding it must have a systemic infection.

Crossing Fingers! for yours though!

You might be asked to post pictures, if possible. Of the whole plant including pot. How long have you had it? What kind of light exposure?
Plant it and they will come.

Thanks for the suggestion and well wishes. I had had the plant for years. First year and a half the plant did fine. Third year brown spots started appearing. Slowly leaves started falling off. Some I pulled off because they had turned black. I don't think I am over watering. I always check my soil before watering. Nor is my plant sitting in water. Brown spots are not on the tips and the leaves are not dry and crunchy. I hope to save her she is a beautiful plant. I would love to see her revive.
