Hi all! My begonia is growing pups on its leaves. I'm wondering how do I go about separating them from the plant for the purpose of propagating? Can I just pull the pup off the leaf and plant it? Should I cut off the leaf and lay it on soil? Thanks for your advice!

That's amazing Bria Your plants seem to have missed a step in the propagation process - having the leaves removed and placed on damp potting mix or similar. I would suggest you do this first step now so that the new plantlets can start making roots. Peg them down for best contact with the moist medium and it wouldn't hurt to put a cover over the tray for increased humidity and give it part shade outside or good light indoors.

Thank you @Vals_Garden for your input. Because I'm tremendously impatient, I had already taken it upon myself to finagle something with the begonia babies. I wound up just removing the leaf entirely, then cutting around where the pup met the leaf, stuck it in moist potting soil, put it in a sealed plastic bag in a lowlight window sill. After 8 days this is what they look like. There appears to be new growth and some kind of aerial roots? At any rate, they aren't dead yet!
