Is it getting enough water? Trees need more as the grow taller.

Is something eating the leaves? Bagworms? Aphids?

Nothing it's eating the leaves, as they look normal to me. However not sure maybe a root problem. I have been watering it every day hope if overwatering?

I don't know why a watering problem would cause one or two branches to be bare while the rest looks normal.
I'm not pro, but I have lost individual maple branches to disease.
Plant it and they will come.

Is that a purple leaf plum?
Here's somebody up your way that seems to feel like other options should be considered:

After reading through this list of cons... My feeling is that a loss of a branch probably isn't too big an issue... I'd consider trimming it out...

The linked site seemed to feel considerable trimming was going to be needful anyway.

Because tree branches use as much water as they individually need as the water column is forced up the trunk. If the column runs out of water before it reaches the top branches, those branches will dry up and die. It was a thought.

This article is about drought damage, but same thing: stress from lack of water. The photo is an example of canopy defoliation

However, roots could also be compromised if it's getting OVERwatered.

Thumbs up
That's what I was thinking too.... Generally not ideal to water plants daily.
