What's wrong with my poppies? They are flowering just fine but the foliage is an ugly grey/brown. It's not just this location…I noticed it last year in a different part of the yard.

Powdery mildew and grey mold are both problems on CA poppies in wet spring years.

I don't know that there is a cure. Hot weather should get rid of it. You can cut the tops off those plants and let them regrow from the roots. In fall, yard cleanup of old plant debris should help control it.
