Thread OP
Atlanta
I recently rescued this cactus after my mother-in-law moved to a nursing home. It use to live in her sunroom but was moved outside where it sat for over a month waiting for my nephew to take it home. Finally I brought it to my house because it broke my heart to see it. I don't know exactly what is wrong with it. I took it out of the original pit and repotted it in a larger por.

I don't know if it has fungus or scale or both or if it has scabs which I'm reading are normal.

I need help identifying the problem and treating it. I live in Atlanta, Georgia.

Thank you.

I have many more photos

I don't know exactly what is up but would recommend strong light, good air flow, and moderation with the water.
