I bought some Last Snowflake X Westbourne seedlings off the LA early this summer from Mary Jane (Bubbles) and TWO of them have scapes that I noticed today. These are YOUNG seedlings, not even a year old, maybe only 6 months? - I am really amazed!

And the Blazing Lampsticks X Papa Smurf seedling I posted earlier this week, has a PROLIF!!

Boy, as much as I complain about the weather, at this point, the daylilies are just LOVING it! ~Jan

BRISTLING FURY x BUDDY'S TOOTHY (BT is pending fall registration) it's the first bloom so it may never do this again but it got pulled to watch

This is a sib - by itself, it is a pretty flower - but next to Patty's Gift.....



As usual, the reds are not being picked up from my camera - it has less purple in real life

KARELIA X PALACE GARDEN BEAUTY - This was taken in the evening after a 94 degree day. The eye and edge color are a more vivid blue violet in the mornings.

Thanks Debra, that's what I thought too. I am not totally in love with orange daylilies but that one kind of caught my eye.

Got it 2011, did not bloom well last year ( pouted?), looking to what it needs put to. The face is perfect but the.scape 26" and the bud count (6 yes only 6!) need major work. Good thing each fan is scaping. I have a couple seedlings with good scapes/ bud count that need a better face, may try this pollen on them.

Cindy, I was surprised that RGS gave up its color completely on that seedling. Color is neat.
