In times of severe drought, re-route your washer hose to empty wash water into a barrel or large container. Every little bit helps!

- Use a small tub in your sink to catch dish water (that doesn't carry meat products)
- Take a pail to the shower with you to recover water while the water warms up
- Route your A/C condensation drain into a bucket or a near-by high water use plant.

Tons more, I'm sure, these are just a few I use. I also empty dirty water out of my horse's trough into a small veggie garden right next to their stalls.
