Hi, Jumper...Nicki, my poodle, loves to go to my son's....no fencing, she runs around like crazy....falls asleep in the car going home. Rita, I guess it's time to name the kitty.

Lilu and I did a nice long 1 hour 45 minute walk today as it is not raining . They did say it would rain but I was able to take advantage of no rain and exercise walk.

A slight mist of a raain on our exercise walk today. So we did not make it an overly long walk.

Two short walks for us.....misty here, too....only good thing was it kept the trails empty.

I have to wait. Can't exercise walk yet as I am waiting on the City Water Dept. to come and change my water meter reader. Apparently it stopped working. Anyway, we will exercise walk after they finish.

Wish my electric meter would stop working! Eversource is asking for another raise, we will be paying $30-$40 more a month....need to move out of this state!

That sounds like quite the jump up in price and not good at all.

Lily is tried out now. She had a nice afternoon playdate this afternoon with her Goldendoodle friend. First my friend and her dog went for a nicce exercise walk with Lily and I. Then we had porch play date. Dogs had play time and doggy treats while my friend and I sat and talked.

Yesterday near 7'30 at night a new cat showed up to visit and there was a lot of cat yowling and caterwalling. It did not stay. I guess the others were saying it was not welcome here.

I wonder if someone dumped cats in your neighborhood....Several months ago, in CT, someone dumped a huge crate with around 75 cats in front of the shelter...

I think the visitor yesterdat was simply a neighborhood cat that just wandered into the yard. I sure hope no more cats show up.

Lovely day. I had lunch and then Lily and I went off on a nice and long exercise walk. Took us over two houts. But I as not in a hurry and Lily was doing lots of stopping and sniffing.

Long time to be out, Rita...I did an hour with the birding group & was exhausted! And we did a lot of stopping to look through the binoculars.

Well, Lily does a lot of stopping to do sniffing. And I don't walk very quickly. However we did go slightly far from home.

An even longer exercise walk today for Lily and myself. I am really trying to build up my sramina to be able to take much longer exercise walks.

Yes, it's important to stay in good shape when you live alone...no one to help with daily chores.

I am fortunate to be fairly nimble. I have friends around my age that if they fall on the ground simply absoluly can not get back up. And I crawl around on the ground each year planting my tomato plants.

I am sore from my two days of long walks. Sore legs yesterday going to bed. I think today will not be an extra long walk as I need to recover.
