I think you may have called it, gingin. Ipomoea hederifolia. We don't have photos of the red ones in the database, although they are described as having red flowers. One of the common names is Scarlet Creeper.

It looks like Ipomoea coccinea. Look for photos on Google.

Top of the Wiki page says 'I. coccinea as described by Martín Sessé y Lacasta and J.M. Mociño is actually I. hederifolia.'

You're welcome. Its flower looks a lot like Ipomoea sloteri 'Apricot Candy' but leaves are way different.

Here's a lovely Ipomoea purpurea, split-petal and yellow-leaf form. It has no variety name.

I like that one! Definitely growing more morning glories this year - found a pack of Jap. mix seeds from you and many seeds that EmmaGrace so generously sent me a few years ago.

This flower at 7 a.m. does not seem to be flaring open as much as the first flower.

It's funny, the flower opened up later in the day.
