I'm the same way in that I have all different plants next to each other. For me, it would be boring to have all like plants in one place.

Thanks Vic, glad you enjoyed my flashback! It still surprises me at the changes since moving here. Now the house, that's another story, most things are on the back burner with maybe a can of paint here and there but that's about it.

It is absolutely amazing Sue to see photos taken over time, showing the amazing transformation of your new place. Looking at the last photos, I would never guess that the garden is only 2 years old.

Sue - I have a question .... You have so many plants and such a large variety .... do you ever see a plant/bloom and are surprised? Such as you forgot about it and was suddenly surprised to see it and remember that Yes! you did indeed plant it sometime ago. It would seem like Alice falling down the rabbit's hole and discovering another world! The possibilities of just adding a few things here and there that might change it up to look different! I love it!

Only the lily bulbs surprise me as many have lost their tags, thankfully they are all in gopher cages otherwise I wouldn't have any. I don't have too many things that go completely dormant and don't plant too many small things now.

So true! There is always nature pitting against us gardeners. Even when we think we've covered all the possibilities, nature always amazes me to what it can throw back at us!
