I have used nothing of the referenced inputs in the subject line above in my morning glory containers this summer. I have used zero chemical fertilizers. I have never, EVER, seen flower production on my plants, or seen leaf rust-tolerance in my plants since I started growing this plant group in 2004. Adding microbial life into the soil via worm castings (worm poop), worm tea and compost tea are the way I'll go from now on for my outdoors-grown container plants.
Using red wiggler worms to compost dropped leaves, spent flowers and fiberboard egg cartons make the black gold to use...it really is very easy. Give it a try!
