Here is another wonderfully scented orchid.

The above images are of Dendrobium Sweet Scent. It is a hybrid of a group of Philippine native species including D. anosmum, pierardii, and others. They smell like raspberries. And look at all of those flowers! As the sun warms each new day, the fragrance becomes stronger and even more fruity!!!

“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. The 2 roses on my arbor are blooming ('Jasmina' and 'Laguna'), and both have luscious attar of roses scents, strongest in 'Jasmina'. I took a bouquet to Mom (MIL) today, and several people stopped to bury their noses in it as I walked to her apartment.

Chantell, I think 'Laguna' might be the more fragrant one... I got their names mixed up. The people who own Palatine Roses have a huge 'Laguna' climbing up and over the door of their house. 'Outta the Blue' needs more sun than it's getting, but the fragrance is even better than those climbers.

I think the Outta the Blue that you'd brought back for me had the best scent of the roses I've grown. I loved it so much, I purchased one from High Country Roses for the front flower bed. Lovey dubby

Tiffany, I highly recommend the bare root roses from Palatine Roses! They ship in early spring. I've bought bare root plants (shipped to NC for MIL) and also brought back potted plants when we went to Canada in June one year. I did an insane job of repacking the car after a week of fishing, made room for 20 roses in the back of the minivan and actually could've fit another 6 or so. (What restraint, am I right??)

My sanseveria is blooming and the fragrance is heavenly! If Y'all have a sans and want to get it to bloom, just give it high light, no direct sun. The blooms are white with thin, curly petals on a long stem. Honeydew just drips off them.

Sounds like Hoya booms. Was the scent like ie sweet, fresh, spicy?

I'd like to put in a vote for Meadowsweet or Filipendula
Queen of the Prairie (Filipendula rubra)

The white one was heavenly and then I got a pink one...mmmmmmm

The bees roll around in the flowers in a way that can only be described as orgiastic.
