For a wind-blown look, plant daffodils of the Cyclamineus class. These early bloomers feature reflexed flower petals that have a wind-blown or bird-in-flight look.
Rita: Those must be the prettiest yellow "Birds" in the garden! I'd never heard of that class of Daffodils but then again I know nothing about those gorgeous spring flowers since they don't grow here in Florida. Really pretty photo's!

I often wish that I didn't live in a place that has winter as I hate winter. But then I would much too much miss my spring bulbs so I guess I need winter.

Beautiful pics, Rita. I love daffodils, but rarely get to see ours bloom in AR as we are in FL until the end of March and by that time they are usually just about finished.
