one of my favorite miniatures -- Utricularia livida.
Not your common miniature plant though; it is carnivorous and requires soil extremely low in nutrients...

It has tiny little green leaves. Reminds me of a lawn.

That's a great pic! I think the Drosera is the star though. Both seem like great additions to a mini garden or mini area.

With haybales? Or without?
Off of the top of my head, here are some plants that might be nice:
Mini daisies: Bellium minutum
Mini grass: Eleocharis radicans
Mini "grass" and white flowers: Sagina subulata
Little leafy plant: Herniaria glabra
etc.

Sedum lydium would be cute, but I'm not sure it fits the theme.
Sedum japonicum 'Tokyo Sun' could look like small yellow blooms.

Dianthus 'Tiny rubies' too, but that not might fit... hmm....

Soleirolia soleirolii if indoors...

Mentha requienii for small purple flowers and leafy stuff
some thymes might work as well

Lobelia pedunculata, Lobelia chinensis (might be too tall and vigorous).
If you want a fence, Muehlenbeckia axillaris might be cute. (Or M. complexa, but that might be too big)

There is a miniature lysimachia too, Lysimachia japonica var. minutissima. It can look like a weed growing in the feeld.
Some dwarf Erodium too, it can look like a field-side weed.

Leptinella gruveri and Leptinella squalida can look like tiny ferns, or more weeds, I guess.

If you want a green hay field try irish moss (Sagina subulata )
it even has small white flowers
there is a mini sea thrift ( Real name escapes me ) has small pink flowers above grass like foliage. Flowers on and off all gardening season, I have even trimmed it short , just don't cut the flower heads .
