The crocus show has started, I see more crocus coming all the time. Meanwhile, I am just about finished with my rose pruning. I did all Florabundaville this afternoon. Only have a few roses in the backyard left still to prune. Started early this year so I did good.

I planted Heavenly Blue Morning Glory Seeds and also Cypress Vine Seeds. I hope they come up. Haven't had cypress vine in years and the past few years my morning glories were all from volunteer seeds and none where Heavenly Blue.

February Gold daff with lots of crocus.

I have cypress vine seeds .. and likely volunteers a bit later if you want some.. red and white flowers.. I keep thinking I'll get pink some time or another ..
So.. what do you think of the cold sleet and icy snow tonight ... had to go up and close the door to the cool room as it got down to 37 inside... the soil I'm sure is 50 or so... I turned the heat back on and now it is 33 outside now... you're right ... spring is definately here ...

Thanks Gordon but I planted some. I do love Cypress vine. Don't know why I have not had any in a few years. the hummingbirds like them also.

I had the thick winter comforter back on my bed last night cause it was cold. Now my porch steps have ice on them and so do the shady parts of my will be veggie beds have snow or ice or something. It will melt as soon as the sun hits it but it is cold outside. Sunny at least.

The only vines that have come up so far are one morning glory and I don't see any cypress vines! Crying I might end up having to buy MG seeds! I also have some Cardinal climber I could start.

I have a grand total of two Heavenly Blues and 3 Cardinal Climbers. Sigh. Oh, and a couple of Sun Smiles, but I don't count them. Not having good luck with my seeds this year, except for the petunias. Got tons of petunias!

Well...I have a few cypress vines sprouting.. Some inside and the ones outside have started up.. Plenty of morning glory volunteers... But we've been pulling them up to make way for the morning glory seedlings I started inside.. From seeds from Edna... And others I had sent to me from Japan and Singapore...
The wisteria has be en a show piece this year... It's starting to fade beginning to drop flowers all over the ground.. ( roof deck ) .. And my clematis is starting to blast away...
OH.. Pictures you say.... We'll let me try this for the third time...

Earlier this spring I amused myself by digging up many trumpet vine volunteers that had popped up all around in the blackberry patch. This from a trumpet vine I dug out last fall or was it in the spring? Anyway, it was not supposed to be a type that spread but they were wrong. Such a shame really as the flowers are just so pretty. And I like the looks of the vine itself even when not in bloom.

So afew days ago I see more starts popped up. I will have to go out and get those two also and hope that I got them all.
