My first seedling of the season bloomed. Not great but I hope it improves.

Klehm's 'Summer Fragrance' is a big flower, 7", with heavy substance, 28". Last year I had blooms from July 7th to August 14th. I've had it for 4 years and does very well in my northern garden. It started blooming last week. Very early this year. It smells good too.

I gave this flower a shake to get the rain drops off. We've had 4 days of thunderstorms. Not good picture taking weather.

Ric - your mystery daylily **might** be Mauna Loa.... just a guess, because you can never know for sure. Your photo shows pinkish "midribs" and Mauna Loa has those. It is an older, popular daylily.

That was the daylily I suggested to Ric by Cmail too Jules.

My poor daylilies are getting hit by hard rains almost every morning. Interesting to see which ones hold up the best. Some seem to almost melt.

This is Kansas Kitten.

Cameroon Twister was hard to get at a good angle because of the mud.

I posted this Spiney Sea Urchin one on the ugly thread at DG. You have to admit the teeth look very real lined up like this.
