This is HOTTER THAN THE FORTH OF JULY X LILLIAN'S ALABAMA SUNRISE SEEDLING 8" 7month This seedling already has a problem, the bloom at the top want be fully open until the next day so the pollen and the pistil are exposed to the weather to long. Thumb of 2011-05-04/spunky1/bfbf02 Just a nice round flower "Little Bo Pink x Seedling" 5.5" 7month.

Fred, if you decide not to keep BW&W x CTD or HTTFOJ x LAS sdlg I want them!!!!! Even though it has a problem, it would look great in my garden. They are just gorgeous.

I think those are all beautiful seedlings, and I am especially drawn to the first because of the wonderful coloring -- and the last because of that eye pattern! I'm not sure I understand the problem with the first one, though. Would that problem keep you from going further with that seedling?

Its only a problem if you hybridize Betty, the pollen gets damp and when do you pollinate it?, its also an eyesore to me, a bloom that's half open for a full day. We will talk Michele. This bloomed today on a 37" high scape with 7 branches. Last year it won best seedling at Pensacola on a 28" scape as a 9 month old. This is the tallest thing in the hybridizing area. Yes, I understand the problem now, but it sure is a beauty! And that last seedling is fantastic! SEVEN branches -- WOW! So impressive! No wonder it won Best Seedling!

Fred -- I say send that seedling up here! Let's see how it does in the cold -- maybe it will open all the way and then close cause its so dang cold up here -- it wouldnt want to stay open very long!! Whistling

I love that 1st one as well. I9 like the color and the form, too bad it is flawed in that manner. Really Fred, I have yet to see a seedling of yours that I haven't liked. You have an uncanny touch for lovely flowers.

Have not posted anything in a few days because of cool nights and high winds, I think we set a record for the coldest nights in May. This is MERCHANT OF VINICE X LILLIAN'S JINGER BRED 6" bloom 25" scape second year.
