Charleen, those are some tough plants to have made it through the winter you all had this year. What a beautiful thing to see, those lovely new leaves.

I am still finding life in those plants in the ground, the ones in the pots, Not so Much. Except for pots in the ground. Pots I put in little GH got hit hard. so trying experiment with brugs planted into ground, I cut bottoms out of pot and place over Brug fill with a little soil then watered them in good.
I will try to do better.
Charlene I had my son plant Miss Doris in the ground last week as I know they grow better that way, only trouble is we have had torrential rains every day since.

Doris, It will kick in and start growing. I know all my blooms are going to be late...
But a late bloom is better than none...

I know you do Dear Doris... I miss the ones I lost. It will be a long time til I get my first blooms . So am patiently waiting for them to grow....

Only one of my three brugs came back this spring. I had gotten over confident and stopped taking cuttings...thank goodness for my lone Dr Seuss so I am not brug less.

don't give up on them. I have one named "Estelle" that I thought was gone and I see new life. Just wait another month and see if new growth comes out....
