Finished mowing the lawn today; did not do the hill as I got a late start and it will need to be seeded next spring so no hurray. I tip my hat to you.

I have found out in the past 30 years that unless you get a hard-hard grass killing freeze, the grass will keep growing.
More than once I have had to mow the lawn after several inches of standing snow.

Getting old and lazy, mostly just plain lazy, I do not keep the lawn mower blade as sharp as one should.
I was reminded of how much BETTER a new lawn mower blade is than even a well sharpened one that looks like the crooked old man.
Those little wings on a blade that are supposed to lift and throw grass -- SHAZZAM-- they actually do, but only if you have not broken them off with rocks and other hard things. D'Oh!
