Thanks for letting me know Alex. I have found that some of the southern bred do take 3 years before they actually start to perform.

I have a lot of pinks, but many are too new to include. The ones here are all pretty good performers for me.

Banned in Boston:

Not the most profuse bloomer, but the blooms are very pink here. I love them.

Bonnie Corley:

A great performer. Blooms can vary in color, but sometimes look quite pink.

Dynamite Returns:

Another great performer--I will always keep this one.

Jolyene Nichole:

A little short, and can show rust now and then, but the blooms are invariably lovely.

Neal Berrey:

This one is pretty new, but put out some lovely blooms this year, and they are PINK!

Pink is just too general a category…what kind of pink? Pale pinks? Hot pinks? Peach? Mauve? With so many pinks to choose from, I'm finding this category intimidating.

There are tons more pinks that I like but this is already too long!

I am mostly not a fan of pinks.
But there are 3 seedlings I have so far refused to throw away as they appeal to me.
This is a new one for 2023, I call "hot-pink stripes":
Seedling name: (C2XC1212)X(PPXPS212)223
Like Pink Stripes, but with some flair and pizazz.

And IHRXBF202, another bold one you can see from far away:


The only pink cultivar I recall owning is (tet) Pink Stripes, though
The colors are more bold than the diploid version, but it sometimes has trouble opening all the way.


Upon reflection, no. I also have Stephanie Returns, Sprinklefetti, and Pitter Patter. All new this year so I forgot they existed. All 3 have special "talents" (i.e. spots) so are not being grown for their beauty.
