Dave, yeah I think we need to see another cute "Amaranth-like" photo of you! I look forward to hearing more about your aquaponic endeavor; have you decided what kind of fish you'll raise? Tilapia is very popular down here and there are a few Tilapia farms around. Tilapia is a mild tasting fish and really good; of course catfish is good too!

I would be very happy to grow Tilapia but the issue is that they are not available anywhere around here that I can find. So, I'd have to order them somehow and I'm not keen on that idea.

Catfish does really well in aquaponics and that's the direction I'm probably going to go. I've also heard about people doing bass and that sounds like it'd be fun, too.
