That's one incredibly photogenic daylily in spite of its problems, Dot! I have it too but it still has not bloomed for me -- so this must be the year, I hope. Yours is absolutely beautiful!

Fred, that COFFEE TO GO seedling is to die for -- I must get my hands on it, which means you really really need to introduce it!!! nodding

And I see you've entered that seedling in the King Of The Hill contest. I don't do Facebook so I can't vote (I get in just to look at things with my sis's account), but I must confess that if I did my vote would go to another of your seedlings -- LAVENDER BUTTERFLY X EMERALD STARBURST. That is one totally incredible and unique daylily! I wrote back to the MyDaylilies Admin when I got my notice that this year's contest is on Facebook and said I wished there was a way people who are not on Facebook could participate, and Cary Peterson wrote back that he agrees and next year it will be back on their site -- much appreciated here!

Susan, I'm sure that in a cooler, more humid climate CROWNING LIGHT would probably be deeper colored -- but probably not the color that its registration shows! It's nowhere near red! And I believe Floyd Cove posts the other picture.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that Coffee to Go seedling, Fred.

Ken, that gravel/rock really sets off the colors in your Trigger Happy.

Debra, just added Woodsman to my Wants list. Lovely photgraph.

White edges are my favorite, doesn't matter if it is a fine wire, ruffled or toothy and they are something I keep an eye out for in the seedlings. Had to look up a few of the ones that have been posted... Just a Wish, is beautiful. Sweet Prairie Wind and Woodsman are now on the ever growing list to add to the garden. Smiling Here's a few that haven't been posted yet and a couple sdlgs.

I love having this resource, watching the parade of beauties that will grace such good future homes - there are so many that we'd otherwise never see here. Also so many gorgeous seedlings that we all hope will get registered (I just have to special mention that UF or Double seedling of Char's ... so awesome to see edges coming out on ruffled forms!). Hurray!

I wonder if people could also post "favorites" that they may not already have, but have seen or have saved to their profile lists from the database? Would really enjoy seeing what others have their eyes on ... 'cause, too many hybridizing sites, too little time! ... Whistling

thanks Group hug i'm going to stick my toe in the water, then, and try sneaking in a database pic of a white edged daylily that I have a hard time taking my eyes off of ... I don't own it, am not looking to get it - not even if discounted, and don't even care to think about including it in my garden until it is much more "vintage" ... but it certainly is one that I admire:

Thank you for the comments on the seedlings. The seedling you mentioned Tina (the second seedling) is a single flower, a sculpted cristate form. The cristation is on the midrib of the flowers' petals. The image of Macchia is a double flower, the white edges show the extra segments perfectly, very pretty!

Cimarron Rose is an older Salter with a white edge that is on my want list. Smiling

Cimarron Rose is a gorgeous one, especially at 7 inches.
That's one that would be hard to miss in the garden for sure.
I can just imagine a clump. Wow.
