I don't even see an entry for it?
It stays small though and has purple blooms

Is it okay to create an entry for it? Does it have a registration date?

I checked both the Hosta Registry and MyHostas.be and it did not come up in either place. It evidently is not registered at the moment. Is the name spelled correctly? If so, it may be just a garden name someone has given it.

It is not a vigorous grower for me, but it does come back after the winter without struggle and it looks nice even today at the end of a brutal July. I have watered it 4 times this month. It is in average soil, not bad, but not ideal either. May spread faster if the soil were looser, but it is kind of heavy where it is at. It bloomed a tad later than many of my others, I have noted that they just bloom whenever they want. My Francess Williams blooms really early, like mid June and I have others that are just now putting up scapes.

I just got my 'Owen Donahue'. I put it in a slightly raised bed in my woodland area with compost type soil with lots of fir needles as a mulch. I do have to water this time of year about twice a week, as the giant fir tree likes to suck up all the moisture.
I find the leaves interesting. I look forward to seeing what it does next year when it comes out of dormancy.
