I guess I should pay more attention to my longest bloomers but I don't. I do know that these bloom for me quite awhile:

Old King Cole

Gorgeous images Debra, I agree on Integrated Logistics it has nice branching and budcount here too. I was really happy to see Willow Dean Smith made a list for long bloomers, I've been wanting to add an edge no eye to the garden and WDS sounds perfect! With little rebloom in the garden focus is on a cultivars branching and budcount of the initial scape. Another thing I consider when looking for cultivars that bloom for a long time is the interval between open blooms on a scape. Even a well branched and budded cultivar can bloom out quickly if it opens one or more blooms every day instead of spacing the opening a day or two apart. A few of the longer blooming daylilies for me are...

Did not read every post so not sure if it was clarified for bud count of number of scapes a clump throws up. An older one that always puts on a show for me is Zagora

Many many scapes in the clump and often does a second round of scapes late in the season. Must admit, it does not like to be moved ( moved fans pout for a year) but clump does need thinned every 3-5 years to keep blooming best.
Love what you teach and teach what you love!

Here is a daylily that always has a lot of bloom in my garden, sorry I have never counted the buds. King's Favor is a good sized clump and IMHO a standout and will always be in my garden.

Thank you for the comments on Witch Hollow Debra and Cindy.

Astral Voyager has such a pretty lavender bloom and it's a really good parent, too. Passes on the great plant habit, Melanie sure picked a winner when she introduced it.

I don't always count buds on the daylilies in the display garden. Like Lisa and Betty I notice which ones continue to bloom long after others that started blooming around the same time have finished.

Creek Ruffles is one that never seems to have more than 3 way branching but each fan in the clump puts up a scape, some a little later than the others giving it a long bloom time.

And Kansas Kitten has settled in nicely also putting on a good mid to late season show.

Just thought I'd float this up in case people are noticing high bud count cultivars in their gardens. If they don't carry bud counts in their database cultivar description, this is a chance to gather your favorites here for others to see. And, of course, to update the database with a comment on the cultivar's page with your own bud count if you want to ear an acorn and ATP members' gratitude! Thumbs up

Beautiful Edgings is great for us, a fantastic bud builder. Have had as many as 50+ buds on one scape. It will always be in our garden.
