It's certainly a wholesome and loving thought just imagining you hard at work removing oil or grease from dolphins. Commendable!

I think you'll be very happy with what you receive from Brushwood. They're definitely worth the wait if you want true-to-name plants.

Good to know. Sure would be maddening to get the wrong variety after all this waiting.

In all the years I've ordered from Brushwood I've never gotten a mislabeled plant.

I'm looking forward to seeing blooms on (what actually looks to be ) 'Markham's Pink' in my garden this year. I can't even recall how many times I've tried to get one of these, only to receive other pink clematis instead. Joy Creek supplied me with healthy plants that show the right kind of leaf, now the final test will be the bloom. I've got my fingers crossed!!

My Omoshiro came from Brushwood, and it's doing very well (heading into year three, I think). It could have used a spot with more sunlight up till now, I believe, but once the last two dead Ash trees come down it'll have a lot. It might be perfect timing, in fact; a couple of years to settle in slowly might just prove to be better for it in the long run.

I went through the same experience with Venosa Violacea. Three times I received the wrong plant. I finally got the right one (two of them) at Walmart, of all places!




We have two Omoshiro clem's at an old stump and one more in full sunshine. Those at the stump have done better, (in more shade), than the one in full sun.

I believe in prayer. I tend to find things after praying to St. Christopher so why not believe in St. Josephine? It can't hurt to believe.
