I'm looking forward to seeing blooms on (what actually looks to be
) 'Markham's Pink' in my garden this year. I can't even recall how many times I've tried to get one of these, only to receive other pink clematis instead. Joy Creek supplied me with healthy plants that show the right kind of leaf, now the final test will be the bloom. I've got my fingers crossed!!
My Omoshiro came from Brushwood, and it's doing very well (heading into year three, I think). It could have used a spot with more sunlight up till now, I believe, but once the last two dead Ash trees come down it'll have a lot. It might be perfect timing, in fact; a couple of years to settle in slowly might just prove to be better for it in the long run.
