Up here they love the cool weather and spread like mad. And the colors would brighten up a pitch black room. lol. I invariably over plant and then the Jurassic monsters overtake everyone else's area.

Thank you They were a bright spot in my containers for sure, I was given the seed by a friend, I saved some seed from them but I don't know if they will look the same this summer, I hope so.
I can't remember when I saved seeds how they turned out. I know that the seeds that fall to the ground do not grow next year. They can 't be that hardy I guess.
That makes sense. I know they form a pod after the flower fades that is tripartate (?) and has three seeds, one in each cell. I assume you have to take them out of the little pods to plant them.
