Not too spring like here this morning, snowing, cold 20f degrees, not supposed to get too much of the stuff. Glare

Brian, you sure got a lot of snow, Blinking mostly here the ground is bare, just small patches in the shaded areas. nodding

Margaret MOST of the snow we had this year is gone! The bird bath stand, the little trellis and most of the yellow chairs were completely covered. The snow was about 5 feet deep in my backyard this winter!

Today is a cold 15 degrees, we still have a lot of snow on the ground some areas are finally showing ground. There is still to much snow to be able to take a walk in the garden, I don't want to walk in snow banks.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!

what is this 'bare ground' thing people are speaking of? I've not seen anything like it around here for months now...

My yard and garden are still buried under about a foot of snow...but it's on its way out finally. Everyday now I can see it melting off.

It was 64 when I left work today @ 5pm Hurray! But it's supposed to get cold again mid-week Thumbs down . I did a quick walk around the yard and it looks like everything is ok so far. Even things in pots. However I did find that the deer have been busy, pulling up or kicking my markers in the front yard and they appear to have nibbled and dug around my Candle Power right in front of the front porch Blinking Blinking Blinking Grumbling
So me being me, I quite loudly told them they were only allowed to eat the ones in the bed down by the road that I planted for them Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling
I also had a loud discussion with Mr Bunny about not eating my daylilies, or I would set Miss PJ loose on them. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
This is Miss PJ, she misses muching on wildlife since she moved indoors.

The worst thing in my mind about these dragged out colder temps in my area is that it means spring will be VERY short. The summer heat will get here on time...it always does. It's the spring season that gets cut short. Can make for a rough year for some plants, no doubt.
