JB, that sounds right, plus DC & Virginia. I also like the regional forums because that way I can actually *meet people* in person that I talk to online! Smiling

The Midatlantic cubits does not seem active anymore... Typ, I think you're right that they must be hanging out in the ether somewhere...

I was not sure about DC and VA since there are some other southern forums and I did not know if they included them or not. It would be nice to know what states the other forums cover. That would be difficult to list them all since there was really no structure or guide when the forums were first developed. I think they have been done on a Needed basis. Really doesn't matter if they are all covered. I wish the others would speak up so we know if they have enough to make the forum. I know several who are from that area and I bet they have not seen the thread.

I sent the link to this thread to Gitagal who is very active in the MAF on DG.She is a ATP member but did not feel comfortable in the NE Forum since most of her locals she trades with are on MAF in DG. They have a very active group especially for trades, etc. She wrote this back:

I wanted to post as well--but could not find out at the bottom how to reply????
I even signed in--as I am a member.. What am i missing????

Not sure why she did not see the reply spot. I will send her this thread and see if she can find it. Darn it.

I will send her the thread again, we do need one or two more I guess before we can have a forum. If someone on the trade forum could mention it there, maybe some of those traders would be interested. Not too many people read the site forum and are not even aware of the possibility of a new MAG Forum.
I also see a great possibility of my customers from this area joining ATP if I was able to give them a Forum for the MA area instead of just telling them to join ATP, which I do on all my suggestions I send with my plants.

@Dave, how are we doing? Lovey dubby Lovey dubby How many more do we need? Where else could we post to get the attention of our members from the area? Any suggestions? I see people from all over posting on all the forums so it is difficult to know just where they may be. This is such an easy group to talk to no matter where you post.

thanks, JB. I posted the link on the DG MAF site. Yes, DC/MD/VA/DE all have a long history of interconnectedness! Smiling

The only three people from that region who have posted to this thread are:

@typwc
@JB
@Catmint20906

As much as I want to create that forum for you all, three people just isn't enough to warrant a forum. But is this a "if you build it they will come" kind of thing? If so we could give it a shot.

You know @Dave, I will do all I can to get the gang I know from the other side of the world to join us. I know for sure one will if I can get her to learn how to move around ATP. Plus I will give the forum to my customers from the area. If necessary I will go on their forum and talk about it....I may get tared and feathered but then I am old and I have been thrown out of better places. Rolling on the floor laughing

If you decide to make a forum, please someone write an article and let people know the forum exists. I know there are people out there but I have just spent an hour hunting some of them and it would be so easy if it was in the newsletter or someplace where everyone looks.

I must get outside and work in the tree fields until dark tonight, so if you write me and I do not respond until later you know where I am.

@Dave Is there a list of members by states here on ATP. If so, I will be glad to send an Tmail to all of them if I know who they are. Or, could we send a group Tmail to them?

Okay, the forum is up! I will also announce it on our facebook page for ATP.

Also, JB, click on "Memberlist" at the bottom of this page and you can search by location. Enter a city, state and it'll show you the members in that area.

JB, have you announced this in the Mid Atlantic Musings Cubit or tried to send tree-mails to the formerly active members of that cubit? Many of the people who were active there are now active ATP members.

@zuzu, I need to call it a day now, but I will get on it tomorrow morning. Cat will be doing some research tonight and when we have completed our plans we will fill you in. We have quite a plan and I am sure you will approve. Also, I will get to Cubits .... I think we can expand even more once we get the word out here.
Thanks for your help and I will no doubt talk to you tomorrow. If it rains I will be inside most of the day, so I can get much of this done. Nite.

I don't know how I happened onto THIS Forum--but it was fun reading it.

JB--you old Pal! I never knew how involved you were in this endeavor.
Bless your heart! I know you were active in convincing me to join ATP.

I will post the link to this Forum as we have many new people in the MAF
who may find this interesting reading....
Meanwhile--I need to expand my areas of interest and check out some of the other Forums. Never know when I will get hooked on something....
Like this one. Most of the posts in this Post are from 2014. Geez...

Thanks Dave (back then) for having faith in all of us--as we do in YOU!

WHOOPS! My bad!

I forgot to check the dates. Gita's comment yesterday about never seeing the forum before as she is very active here.

I think I need to go back to bed. Shrug!
